Shane Gadbaw founded Aspen Equity Real Estate after nearly a decade of making significant real estate investments at Eagle Point as owner and operator of the ski area. He realized that buyers and sellers would benefit from a brokerage that combines investment experience with local expertise. When not greeting guests and developing Eagle Point, Shane is also a professional investor and former hedge fund manager.

Our story
In 2009, Shane Gadbaw acquired the land surrounding what is today Eagle Point Resort after a career on Wall Street. He swapped suits for boots and moved his family to Beaver, Utah to lead the revitalization and development of the ski area. Aspen Equity Real Estate was founded in 2017 alongside the launch of the first ski-in/ski-out neighborhood, Aspen Crest. Since then, Shane and his team have meticulously released real estate for sale including new ski-in/ski-out communities and 43 new condominiums. Today, the Master Development Plan is formalized, lot inventory is low, and Aquila — Eagle Point’s best ski-in/ski-out development — has just launched.
